Evan Powell is the Retail Food Protection Manager for Kwik Trip, Inc. in La Crosse, WI. Kwik Trip, Inc. owns and operates over 850 retail convenience stores in the upper Midwest, serving 12 million+ guests each week. Kwik Trip's vertical integration includes a corporate support center, eight food production facilities, a Food Protection Laboratory, a warehouse/distribution center, an employee center for health, and their own Convenience Transportation fleet which delivers to each of the stores daily.

Evan has been with Kwik Trip for 11 years, starting out working in a retail location before transitioning to the corporate support center with the retail operations team, finally landing with the Food Protection department for the last seven years. Evan has been in his current role for two years and works closely with the retail food service team to manage foodborne illness risk factors and protect the Kwik Trip, Inc. brand in their convenience stores. In addition, Evan collaborates with the Food Protection department on managing the entire food supply chain within Kwik Trip including coordinating and participating in upstream supplier assessments.

Evan received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Winona State University and his Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He resides in the Twin Cities, MN with his fiancée Kate and their cat, Winnie.
