Om Shankar

Om Shankar is the General Manager and Vice President of Konect, a strategic business unit within Gilbarco Veeder-Root, dedicated to revolutionising EV charging for fuel retailers and commercial fleets worldwide. Additionally, he serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of JUXTA, an autonomous micro-retail artificial intelligence technology startup under Vontier, GVR's parent company. Since joining GVR in 2020, Om has been an integral part of the senior leadership team, spearheading global strategy initiatives. Prior to his tenure at GVR, Om held the position of Global Commercial Director for the oil and gas energy division of Armacell. With extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, including roles at Shell and TechnipFMC, Om has contributed to product development, engineering, and marketing endeavours. He holds degrees in Materials Science & Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas.
