Roland Larino is a Category Manager at Murphy USA, where he leads a broad portfolio of General Merchandise categories across the entire company's convenience retail network. He began his category management career in consumables at Southeastern Grocers, managing the packaged beverage category, and later held additional category roles across the convenience and farm/fleet channels.
With more than 12 years of experience, Roland has managed categories ranging from Packaged and Dispensed Beverage, to Nicotine, Snacks, Alcohol, and General Merchandise. His background includes focuses on category strategy, assortment planning, pricing and promotional strategies, and a focus on working creatively with suppliers to accomplish mutually beneficial outcomes.
Roland earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Marketing from Texas A&M University. He currently lives in El Dorado, AR. Outside of work, Roland enjoys traveling, following college sports, & watching his Carolina Hurricanes win this year's Stanley Cup.
