Barbara Kessler is the Marketing Director – Convenience Stores for CrossAmerica Partners, where she leads marketing, merchandising, category, foodservice, loyalty, and field execution priorities for the company-operated convenience store business.
Barbara has worked in convenience retail since 2007, with specific expertise in food and beverage, category management, merchandising, vendor partnerships, and store-level execution. Prior to convenience retail, she spent more than a decade in restaurant operations, giving her a practical operator’s view of foodservice, team execution, and the guest experience.
Her career includes leadership roles with CrossAmerica Partners, The Wills Group/Dash In, bp/ampm, Thorntons, Kroger Convenience Stores, and Valero. She is a Certified Professional Category Manager and Certified Professional Category Analyst, and has contributed to award-winning work across foodservice, dispensed beverages, merchandising, loyalty, and retail execution.
Barbara is a Top Women in Convenience Senior-Level Leader (2022) and is focused on building practical, scalable programs that teams can execute well and guests can experience in the store.
